Our Logan vollies took on an important role during Census

It's only held once every five years, but this year a group of our dedicated volunteers jumped into action as Australian Bureau of Statistics officers to make sure all our inpatients were accounted for on Census night.

Co-ordinating the nationwide, compulsory survey across the hospital is a huge task so a big thank you is due to Corporate Services Manager Cheryl Cross for taking on the role as Logan's Census guru.

Thank you also to all the staff on shift on Tuesday night who helped patients with their Census and making sure envelopes were where they needed to be for collection.

The Census helps plan schools, roads, public transport and of course hospitals just like ours.
