A kind-hearted retiree from Canberra has been handmaking wooden toy cars especially for children at Logan Hospital.
Ian McWaters contacted the Logan Hospital Fund earlier this year to ask for their help in distributing the toys.
Since then, he has generously donated boxes of his handmade cars, which have been shared with children across our paediatric services, including Children’s Outpatients and the Paediatric Minor Injuries Clinic at Meadowbrook.
Ian has also committed to continuing his monthly donations until the end of the year, with Bunnings generously donating timber to help support his wonderful work.
