QEII Volunteer Services have strengthened their partnership with QEII Expansion managing contractor Built, after the construction group made its second annual donation to Stan's Christmas Raffle this August.

With construction of QEII's new Clinical Services building and multi-level car park taking shape, the partnership between Built and QEII's Volunteer Services is only getting stronger.

For over 25 years, beloved QEII volunteer Stan Belas has dedicated his spare time to hosting year-round raffles at the hospital, with funds reinvested into improving the QEII campus and grounds.

Stan's 2026 Christmas raffle boasts dozens of exciting prizes to complete every family's Christmas wish list.

In the spirit of giving back to the QEII community, Built is donating a $1,500 food voucher and a $500 fuel voucher to the 2026 raffle.

Built Construction Manager, Andrew Michael caught up with Stan on 24 August to make the donation in person.

In true community spirit, Andrew says the company was eager to get involved for a second year and help raise money for a cause close to home.

"This donation has a lot to do with Stan—he's here every day, greeting everyone and raising money for the hospital. If we can donate roughly $2,000 worth of gifts and prizes that will potentially raise 10 times as much for QEII, we want to do that," he explained.

"We're a charitable business, so if we can help impact the QEII community, we definitely will."

Special thanks to Built for their generous donation and their ongoing support of the QEII community.
