PA Hospital is continuing to strengthen the future of nursing, welcoming a new cohort of graduate nurses in 2026 with strong support from staff and Nurse Educators.

They were joined by other nursing graduates from across Metro South Health in the first joint orientation of its kind at PAH, reinforcing a strong sense of commitment and belonging across the health service.

Nurse Educator and Graduate Nurse Coordinator Megan Wise said PAH is proud to offer a supportive environment where graduates feel encouraged and valued.

“This is such an exciting moment for these graduates as they officially embark on their careers, so we want to ensure they feel welcomed from day one,” she said.

“We are also able to reassure them that we will be there to provide educational and supportive tools to build an enriching professional career.”

“The nursing grads will be placed across all clinical divisions which gives them exposure to a variety of dynamic environments, specialties, and experiences.”

The benefits of the program extend well beyond the graduates, strengthening PAH’s workforce both now and into the future which is a priority as the hospital expands.

Megan said additional nursing graduates are expected to commence at PAH in the coming months as part of a staggered intake.

“Nursing is an incredibly rewarding profession, and we know the experiences you get early in your career will set you up for life.”

Welcome to all our 2026 nursing graduates!
