Beaudesert Hospital’s Emergency Department (ED) team received an unexpected surprise when a former patient returned almost a decade after his visit, just to say thank you!
Stephen Bell required emergency care while visiting the region from Grafton in 2017 and recently stopped by with a gift to show his appreciation for the staff who cared for him.
“The experience was so memorable that I have come in today with a box of chocolates to show my true appreciation for the nurses in the ED,” he said.
The team’s care left a lasting impression on Stephen, and his return visit was a wonderful reminder of the impact compassionate care has on a patient’s experience.
