Our Beauy team has closed the book on another great year at the Beaudesert Show.
From health information and first aid demonstrations to fun activities for families, the event was a great opportunity to connect with the community outside the hospital walls.
Staff and volunteers shared information about the wide range of services available through Beaudesert Hospital, while the Telehealth Team, Consumer Partner Group and Beaudesert Hospital Fund also joined the fun.
The stall offered plenty of opportunities for conversations and questions, and also included a popular 'guess how many lollies' competition featuring a jar containing 232 snakes.
Clementine, a very clever two-year-old guessed the exact number and is now the proud owner of Cosmo the crocheted carpet python.
Facility Manager Di Conlon said the event was a great way to build relationships with locals and showcase the people and services behind the hospital.
“Events like the Beaudesert Show provide a valuable opportunity for us to connect with our community in a positive and meaningful way, outside of the hospital environment,” Di said.
“Thank you to everyone who contributed their time, energy and enthusiasm to making this event such a success.”
