If you’ve ever passed through the QEII Hospital kitchen, chances are you’ve seen Sanish: always smiling, always busy, and always proud to serve.
Since joining the Food Services team in November 2023, Sanish has worked across every area of the kitchen, now thriving in his favourite role: as a cook.
“I love working as a cook. Serving sick patients for their fast recovery, that’s what makes me happy,” he said.
Sanish's passion for patient care shines through in everything he does. Whether plating meals or prepping for the upcoming room service model, he’s ready to embrace change with positivity and purpose.
“It will keep us busy and give our patients more freedom,” he said.
What makes Sanish’s job even better is the support and camaraderie of the incredible team around him.
“We have a fantastic team, from goods to products to our team, we’re all friends. It’s good to be here working together.”
