Beaudesert local Wayde Matthews has found the perfect fit in his new role as Safety and Response (S&R) Officer at Beaudesert Hospital, combining his passion for helping others with his commitment to community safety.
Wayde first joined the Beaudesert team in 2024 as an Operational Officer, following a diverse career as a qualified heavy fabricator structural engineer, cabinet maker, and shop fitter.
He said stepping into the S&R role had allowed him to make a meaningful contribution to the safety and wellbeing of both staff and patients, while continuing to serve the community he loves.
“It’s rewarding to know that the work I do helps keep people safe and supports the hospital team in caring for our community,” Wayde said.
