Beaudesert Hospital was well represented at the June ‘Our values’ staff awards, with two teams receiving Highly Commended recognition for their outstanding contributions to patient care and service excellence.
The Food Services Team was recognised in the Engagement category for its exceptional teamwork, collaboration and commitment to improving patient care. The team successfully implemented CBORD, a new patient meal management system that addressed a Logan and Beaudesert Health Service risk relating to food allergen management. Their dedication and resilience throughout the implementation reinforced a strong culture of continuous improvement within the department.
The Emergency Department was Highly Commended in the Partnering with Consumers category. The nomination recognised the team's unwavering commitment to ensuring every patient and their family receives the best possible care. This patient-centred approach is reflected in the consistent stream of compliments the department receives each month, highlighting the positive impact the team has on the community.
