Our Beaudesert team is gearing up to represent the amazing Beaudesert Hospital at the 2025 Beaudesert Show on Friday 5 and Saturday 6 September.
Facility Manager Marg Wendt said this year was especially meaningful, with Beaudesert Hospital celebrating 125 years of serving the community.
She said a display of hospital milestones from 1900 to now was one of the many highlights to see at their interactive stall.
“We are so proud of our hospital and can’t wait to chat with our community,” she said.
Visitors to the hospital’s interactive stall can look forward to:
- Telehealth demonstrations showing how simple it is to access care from home.
- Volunteer opportunities, with posters, QR codes and application forms to join the new Kindness Krew.
- Consumer Partner recruitment information for those wanting to get involved in shaping care.
- A 125-year anniversary timeline, stickers and stories to spark community memories.
- Advance Care Planning, My Aged Care and VAD resources to take home.
- First Nations Showcase, featuring cultural events and free giveaways including bags, mugs, pens, playing cards and more.
- The Bravery Bee Project, with a giant crocheted bee prize up for grabs and the chance to join the initiative.
- Team Showcase, celebrating Beaudesert Hospital’s award-winning staff.
- Interactive activities, including CPR practice with mannequins, “Pin the Organs on the Person,” and “Shakey Surgery” for aspiring surgeons.
Across two fun-filled days, the stall will offer something for everyone while celebrating Beaudesert Hospital’s proud history and its strong connection with the community.
