Beaudesert Hospital's interactive stall has once again appealed to the masses at this year's Beaudesert Show.
The stall was a hive of activity across both days, drawing in staff, community members and showgoers eager to join in the celebrations. From Telehealth demonstrations and CPR practice to interactive games like 'Pin the Organs on the Person' - there was something for everyone to enjoy.
Visitors explored a special 125-year anniversary display, complete with stickers, stories and memories from the hospital’s proud history. The stall also showcased the Bravery Bee Project, the Kindness Krew volunteer program, and opportunities for community members to get involved as Consumer Partners.
Facility Manager Marg Wendt said the turnout was a fantastic reminder of the strong connection Beaudesert Hospital had with its community.
"We value the opportunity to meet with our consumers and community in a relaxed and social way at the show. It is always a big boost for the staff when we have people come up and tell us about how much they appreciate the hospital and the care they receive from our team," Marg said.
"The MSH Telehealth team joined us in the booth this year and were very impressed by how the community are keen to embrace ways to access care while still being close to home. Our new game ‘Pin the Organs on the Person’ was a big hit, and the doctors and nurses certainly had fun with the enthusiastic children who wanted to give it a try."
The Beaudesert team thanks everyone who stopped by to say hello, take part in the activities, and share in celebrating 125 years of caring for the community.
