Auxillary volunteers celebrated National Volunteer's Week at Beaudesert Hospital

In recognition of National Volunteer Week, Beaudesert Hospital has proudly acknowledged and celebrated the invaluable contribution of its Auxiliary volunteers.

This dedicated group of around 40 individuals plays a vital role in supporting the hospital community, most visibly through the operation of the hospital kiosk. Staff and visitors alike are familiar with the friendly faces behind the counter and the freshly made sandwiches that have earned a reputation as the best in Beaudesert!

Beyond their sandwich-making talents, the Auxiliary is also a major contributor to the hospital’s fundraising efforts. Their current focus is on initiatives that support the wellbeing and morale of both patients and staff. Late last year their contributions helped refurbish on-call accommodation, providing new furniture, appliances, and essential household items to create a more comfortable and restful environment for staff.

In addition, the team has recently committed funding to a significant upcoming project for the hospital — details of which will be shared in the coming months.

On behalf of us all, thank you to the Beaudesert Hospital Auxiliary for their continued dedication, generosity, and community spirit.
