A pilot Diabetes Ramadan Preparation Clinic run by the Logan Endocrine and Diabetes Service (LEADS) has caught the attention of the ABC, who recently visited the team to learn more about the Australian-first initiative.

They caught up with Doctors Gaurav Puri and Kathryn Berkman, along with consumer Anwar Deen and supporter of the program Imam Akram Buksh, to learn more about how the LEADS team was providing culturally responsive healthcare to Logan's diverse community.

Congratulations to the entire LEADS team for this innovative initiative.
