It was all smiles from the Endoscopy nursing team this May, as they claimed the winning prize for the 2025 International Nurses Day (IND) Wellness Competition.
A group of 21 nurses put on their creative hats to produce a music video in honour of the supportive team culture at the unit.
Creative Director/Registered Nurse (RN) Hannah Najarro (pictured front and centre) led the team to victory with an Endoscopy-themed rendition of We’re All in This Together, complete with group choreography and cheeky references to bowel prep.
“We try to have fun while we’re here. Everyone is so lovely and positive, and we all work together in a supportive manner,” said Hannah.
What started as a light-hearted ode to team culture-building soon turned into an award-winning performance.
“As a team, we communicate well with each other and work together in a cohesive manner. During challenging times, we come together to debrief and support one another. It’s a very encouraging culture here and we do a lot to boost morale within the unit.
“The video was our way to embody the culture of team-building and support that we have here at Endoscopy, in a light-hearted way.”
The Specialty Outpatients Department (SOPD) nursing team came in at a close second with their own creative entry, the SOPD Wellbeing Poem.
