Logan Hospital has officially opened Ward 2R, the first milestone in a two-stage refurbishment of the hospital’s Mental Health services.
Delivered through a strong collaboration between Logan and Beaudesert Health Services (LBHS), Metro South Health’s Addiction and Mental Health Services (MSAMHS), and the Logan Hospital Expansion team (LHEX), this upgrade marks a significant step forward in enhancing patient care and staff experience.
Ward 2R features six new single rooms with ensuites, upgraded staff and patient amenities, and a minor refurbishment of Ward 2B, which adds another bedroom and additional facilities.
Executive Directors from both health services acknowledged the dedication of all teams involved, whose efforts ensured quality care continued throughout the construction and commissioning phases.
