Parents-to-be Megan and Luke were among the first patients to visit our new Women’s Health Services that opened at the Meadowbrook Health Centre this week.
The couple, who are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their baby girl in the coming weeks, attended for Megan’s 36-week check-up.
They said they were excited to be the first members of the public to access the beautiful new facility.
Megan and Luke are just one of many local families set to benefit from the new Meadowbrook Women’s Health Services, which provides high-quality care and support for women, including maternity, gynaecology outpatient clinics, and a range of support services.
The opening of Women's Health Services comes just weeks after the Meadowbrook Minor Injury and Illness Clinic starting welcoming patients, the facility part of a growing list of LBHS facilities delivering high-quality healthcare closer to home
Conveniently located on Nestor Drive, directly opposite Logan Hospital and adjacent to Meadowbrook Shopping Centre, the Centre is also just a short walk from Loganlea train station.
Access to the Meadowbrook Health Centre is easy with a patient drop-off and pick-up area at the entrance and safe, undercover parking.
The opening of the Meadowbrook Health Centre was made possible through $33.4 million in capital funding from the Commonwealth Government under the Community Health and Hospitals Program, with ongoing service delivery funded by the Queensland Government.
