Behind the scenes of Logan Hospital’s major expansion project is a team of 12 people helping ensure every new space is equipped to support the needs of our growing community.
With backgrounds spanning nursing, administration, allied health and project management, the Operational Commissioning Team brings a diverse range of expertise to what is one of the state’s largest hospital infrastructure projects.
Senior Project Director for Logan Hospital Expansion Mayuri Gandhi said the important work happening behind the scenes was just as vital as the construction taking shape across the campus.
“While the progress of the expansion is becoming more visible every day, there’s a lot happening behind the scenes to bring these new spaces to life,” she said.
“The role of the Operational Commissioning Team is to bring together staff, consumers and project partners to ensure the new facilities support the way care is delivered at Logan Hospital."
Through ongoing consultation and collaboration, they are helping create spaces that are safe, efficient and designed to meet the needs of our growing community.
