Roslyn Cripps celebrates winning Logan's Volunteer of the Year Award

Logan Hospital marked National Volunteer Week recently by shining a light on the everyday heroes who give their time, energy and heart to our hospital community.

During a special celebration, our volunteers, fondly known as ‘vollies’, were recognised for the incredible contributions they make every day.

Whether it’s greeting visitors with a friendly smile, supporting patients through challenging moments, running the ever-popular craft shop, or helping quietly behind the scenes, there’s little our vollies don’t do.

Volunteer Coordinator Kylie Mott said it was an honour to work alongside such a dedicated group.

“Your support allows us to continue delivering quality healthcare every day,” Kylie said. “We’re so grateful for your generosity, your spirit, and the many talents you bring to our team.”

The celebration also featured the very special announcement of this year’s Volunteer of the Year, Roslyn Cripps.

“Roslyn greets every day with a smile and a determination to make a difference,” Kylie said.

“Her nominations spoke of her warmth, her kindness, and the ‘can-do’ attitude she brings to every shift. Since joining us in 2023, she’s become a truly irreplaceable part of our team.”
