2N receives donation of beautiful handmade quilts

Logan Hospital’s Neonatal Unit recently received a very special delivery from Acting Sergeant Sharon Apap, who personally brought in a bundle of beautifully handcrafted quilts.

The quilts were made by the talented ladies of Palm Lake Waterford and the Ormeau Quilters Club, including Sharon’s own mum, Jean, who helped coordinate and create the heartfelt donations.

Earlier this year, the group also donated hundreds of Cuddle Hearts when the unit’s supply ran low.

Logan Hospital-based Sharon said she often spent her time collecting items and delivering donations on behalf of her mum.

Thank you for giving back to our hospital community Sharon!

*While the Neonatal Unit appreciates all donations, they now have enough blankets and cuddle hearts to last well into next year.
