They say good things come in threes, and for Phil Lange, that couldn’t be more true, receiving a triple nomination for living our Metro South Health values.
The hard-working Operational Services Manager was nominated in the Integrity, Compassion and Excellence categories at the recent Our Values Staff Awards.
And while he didn’t take out the title this quarter, he is still a winner in our eyes!
Phil is no stranger to Beaudesert Hospital or Metro South Health with 18 years of service under his belt.
His previous roles include security at Logan Hospital and as a member of the team he now manages.
One year into his leadership role, Phil said he takes a down-to-earth approach to management, grounded in mutual respect and collaboration.
He said this helped ensure his team felt valued and supported every step of the way.
“I don’t like to think of myself as a boss. They’re a really good team here. I just make sure they have what they need,” Phil said.
“I love it here at Beaudesert. I always wanted to stay with Metro South, even when I moved from Logan to here. I wouldn’t work anywhere else.”
