Meadowbrook Women’s Health Services has celebrated 12 months of providing personalised, compassionate care closer to home for women across the community.
Women's and Children's A/Service Line Director Kristy Perkins said the first year of operation in the beautiful, purpose-built facility had been a great success.
“Women’s Health Services are delivered through a partnership between the Women’s and Children’s Service Line, Clinical Support Services and Allied Health,” she said. “This collaborative approach has enhanced care through the co-location of a range of services, including nursing and midwifery teams, obstetrics and gynaecology medical teams, pharmacy, medical imaging, physiotherapy, social work, dietetics, psychology and pathology.
“Together, these teams are improving access to high-quality healthcare closer to home for local women.”
The milestone celebration recognised ongoing improvements, including day procedures, new services and innovative models of care that continue to make a meaningful difference to women and families across the community.
Congratulations to everyone who has contributed to the success of Meadowbrook Women’s Health Services' first year.
