Victoria Point Cubs
Redland Hospital’s Lamb Ward had some extra visitors this week when the Victoria Point Cubs dropped in with handmade cards and presents for our young patients.
The visit was part of the Cubs’ work towards earning their Messengers of Peace badge, which recognises Scouts who connect with their community and support others.
District Director Ross Hunter joined Cub Leader Claire and helper Cherylee, along with Cubs Harrison, Matthew and Sophia, for the special delivery.
Cub Leader Claire said the children embraced the chance to brighten someone’s day.
“The kids loved wrapping gifts and they know children will love the presents inside,” she said.
Bayside Health Service thanked the Cubs for their kindness and community spirit, which brought comfort and delight to patients and families.
