  • Sessions will not be recorded, so live attendance is required.

Session 1: Introduction to SPSS

Facilitated by the Metro South Biostatistics Service
This beginner-friendly session provides an overview of SPSS, a powerful statistical software used for data analysis in research. Participants will learn how to navigate the SPSS interface, import and manage datasets, and perform basic descriptive analyses. Ideal for those new to SPSS or needing a refresher.


Session 2: Statistical Comparisons using SPSS

Facilitated by the Metro South Biostatistics Service
Prerequisite: SPSS Series 1: Introduction to SPSS
This session builds on foundational SPSS skills to explore statistical comparisons. Participants will learn how to conduct tests using SPSS, and how to interpret the output for research reporting. Perfect for those looking to apply statistical tests to compare groups in their data.


Session 3: Linear Regression with SPSS

Facilitated by the Metro South Biostatistics Service
Prerequisites:
* SPSS Series 1: Introduction to SPSS
* SPSS Series 2: Statistical Comparisons using SPSS
This advanced session introduces linear regression analysis in SPSS. Participants will learn how to build, interpret, and assess linear regression models, including checking assumptions and understanding model outputs. Designed for researchers ready to explore relationships between variables in their data.
