Event overview
Tailored for practitioners that provide maternity care to families within Logan, Beaudesert, and Redland catchments, the education evening session will give you the opportunity to discuss your early pregnancy cases with Obstetricians, Obstetric and Gynaecology Registrars, Midwives and your GP colleagues.
The event will focus on early pregnancy complications:
- Nausea, Vomiting, and Hyperemesis in Pregnancy
- Early Pregnancy Bleeding and Pain
- Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit (Logan) new eligibility criteria and service times.
Recommended pre-reading will be circulated in the fortnight prior.
Dinner will be provided from 6pm and parking is available in the undercover carpark at the hospital.
Note: CPD points educational activity and reviewing performance will be available on feedback completion.
This year the AM1 program will be presented as a series of evening events in the first half of the year. The sessions will be open to all practitioners who deliver maternity care, but GPs must attend at least 3 events to be recognised as MSHHS aligned.
