Event overview
Tailored for practitioners that provide gynaecology care to women within Logan, Beaudesert, and Redland catchments, the education session will have O&G presenters.
Topics include presentations and case discussions covering:
- heavy menstrual bleeding
- abnormal cervical screening test follow up
- pelvic floor prolapse and urinary incontinence
- menopause
- pelvic pain.
Followed by a more practical workshop session after morning tea:
- Mirena/Kyleena insertion simulator
- implanon insertion (model only)
- pipelle biopsy demonstration
- vaginal pessary demonstration.
Morning tea and lunch will be provided and parking is available onsite.
Note: This activity can be self-recorded with your CPD Home for Educational activity hours and Reviewing Performance hours (suggested hours for each category will be discussed on the day), or we can arrange to have your CPD hours logged for you.
