Listening Is Compassion in Action

Dr Stan Steindl is a clinical psychologist, author and internationally recognised trainer in Compassion Focused Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. With more than 25 years of clinical experience, he is an Adjunct Professor at The University of Queensland and Co-Director of the UQ Compassionate Mind Research Group. Stan is the author of The Gifts of Compassion and creator of the YouTube channel Compassion in a T-Shirt, where he makes the science and practice of compassion accessible for everyday life. His work explores how compassion, deep listening and human connection can alleviate suffering and support meaningful change.
